Web Site Maintenance Ad-Hoc Subcommittee
The Web Site Maintenance Subcommittee Meeting is held at 10:00,one hour before the A.S.C. in the Spruce Room, St. Cloud Hospital.
Ideas to help you create a group web page.
- Gather the information that you would like to have on your web page.
- First you should have driving instructions to the meeting place from an easy to find (or well known) intersection and verbal instructions to get to the room your meeting is in.
- If it is O.K. with the owner of the building you are in, you could take a digital picture (preferably during the day time) of the building that your meeting is held in. The picture should show the door that you enter to get to the meeting room.
- Include any specifics about your meeting, including:
- Open or closed (Open to interested public or Just for Addicts)?
- Average Attendance,
- Average length of meeting
- Type of meeting:

- O = Open (Anyone Welcome)
- C = Closed (Addicts Only)
- M = Men (Men Only)
- W = Women (Women Only)
- GL = Gay and Lesbian
- YP = Young People
- B = Beginner's Meeting
- Wc = Wheelchair Accessible
- SL = Sign Language (Meeting has an ASL interpreter).
- Sm = Smoking Allowed
- Nc = No Children Allowed
- Cc = Child Care Available
- Sc = Supervised Children (Well-behaved, supervised children welcome).
- Su = Surveillance Cameras (Facility has surveillance cameras installed).
- Gu = Guarded Building (Attendees may be required to sign in).
- LP = Limited Parking Facilities
- Ou = Outdoors
- Ti = Timer (Sharing time limited by a timer).
- OT = Arrive On Time (Late arrivals must wait to share).
- AL = Appropriate Language (Please observe decorum).
Meeting Format Codes
- D = Discussion (Attendees welcome to share)
- Sp = Speaker Only (Attendees do not share)
- SD = Speaker Discussion (Speaker, then sharing by attendees).
- Pd = Panel Discussion
- St = Step (Discussion of the Twelve Steps of N.A).
- Tr = Tradition (Discussion of the Twelve Traditions of N.A).
- To = Topic
- Rf = Rotating Format (The format is variable).
- Ls = Literature Study (Basic Text, It Works: How and Why, etc).
- Sd = Service Discussion
- Fs = Fixed Sharing Order (Group conscience dictates sharing order).
- Rr = Round-Robin (Fixed sharing order around a circle).
- Pi = Pitch Sharing (Each person to share selects the next).
- Cl = Candlelight
- Collect any other information that you want on your page and e-mail it all to the Webservant at

fill it out at your group and get it to the Website Subcommittee at the next Area Service Committee Meeting (A.S.C.).
Here are some recommendations:
- Use original N.A. graphics. (Don't take graphics from other sites.)
- Avoid pictures of people. (Remember to keep personal anonymity.)
- Give careful consideration to submitting names and /or telephone numbers as a contact person as this information will be available to the world.
- If you want to link to another site, it must be an N.A. site.
- There should be no affiliation with, or links to other entities, fellowships, businesses etc.
- Content on our website should adhere to standards of decency, no profanity, offensive language, inflammatory comments or remarks, pornography, etc.
- We should be ever vigilant so as not to violate any traditions!!!
Ideas to help you create a Subcommittee web page.
- Give a description of your Subcommittee including its purpose.
- Link to any N.A.W.S.information concerning your subcommittee.
- Announce regularly scheduled Subcommittee Meeting time and place.
- Detail clean-time requirements for various positions in your subcommittee.
- Gather this information and get it to the Website Subcommittee at the next A.S.C.
